Jayma Mays loves kids. She loves cookies. And she hates Cancer.

Well, we love shoes! More specifically we love Jayma Mays’ baking shoes! Jayma debuted these beauties during her Cookies For Kids’ Cancer bake sale and it turns out that one of us actually owns them! The owner was more than a little excited to realize that she and Jayma had similar taste in shoes and after a night of watching Glee she, along with some of the greatest people this side of the internet, had an idea. We love kids and hate Cancer too so how about we do something to help out lovely Lady Jay?

And so, The Sisterhood of the Baking Shoes was born. The mission? Share the shoes. Kicks this pretty should not be worn by one person alone. These shoes will take a journey traveling (literally) all over the world. They will be captured on film, written about in a journal, tweeted about, blogged about, and take on a life of their own.

At the end of it all we will sell them. Don’t worry; we will treat them with much TLC so that the benefactor of our project will have only gently loved shoes to wear. We will take the money we earn and donate 100% of it to Glad To Give’s Cookies for Kids’ Cancer in Jayma’s name.
